Two of UKIP candidates for May’s European Parliamentary election, Diane James and Nigel Jones, will be speaking at a free public meeting at the Riverside Centre, Newport on Wednesday April 30th from 19:00.
Diane James is candidate number three of the UKIP list. She narrowly missed out on becoming UKIP’s first ever Member of Parliament last year, losing by only 1771 votes to Mike Thornton (Liberal Democrat) at the Eastleigh by-election in February 2013.
Nigel Jones is candidate number 7 on the UKIP list. He is a historian and journalist who has had articles published in the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph amongst many others.
