Debra Stephenson, the star of BBC’s Dead Ringers & The Impressions Show, as well as ITV’s Newzoids & Coronation Street is set to perform on the Isle of Wight, taking to the stage for an evening of comedy, music and impressions.
In her new nationally-toured show Night of One Hundred Voices, actress, impressionist and comedienne Stephenson flexes all of her comedic muscles to bring you a one woman variety show featuring songs from every decade from the 60s to the 00s, and some of her best loved impressions.
Accompanied by the James Stead Orchestra, Debra will take on the personas of some of music’s most flamboyant characters, including Billie Holiday, Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse. As well as serenading us Stephenson will be recreating some of her favourite impressions from TV, transforming herself into the likes of Cheryl, Sarah Millican and Davina MacCall.
As an actress Debra has had long running roles in Coronation Street and Bad Girls. Her entertainment credits include The Friday Night Project, Fame Academy and Let’s Dance for Sports Relief to name just a few. In 2011 she danced as a contestant on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special and in 2015 appeared as the winning mentor on ITV’s talent show Get Your Act Together.
Debra will be performing at Medina Theatre on 2nd April. Tickets are available at www.medinatheatre.co.uk or by calling the Box Office on 01983 823884.
