The Isle of Wight NHS Trust Board are to meet tomorrow (Wednesday) to discuss the progress being made to improve quality of NHS services on the Island.
The meeting, which members of the public are able to attend, will begin at 09:00 on Wednesday 7th June 2017 in the Conference Room, School of Health Sciences, St Mary’s Hospital.

Items on the agenda include:
• Review of the reports from the CQC inspections of the NHS 111 service and the Urgent Care Walk In Service
• Updates on the actions taken since the publication of the CQC inspection reports on 12th April 2017 covering other Trust services
• Publication of the Trust Quality Improvement Plan
• 2017/18 Performance Plans and performance of the Trust across all areas including ambulance, community, hospital and mental health services reported in the Trust performance report.
• Updates and reports from the Trust Chair, Interim Chief Executive, and Chief Operating Officer.
• Safer staffing monthly review
• Employee Recognition Awards including Employee of the Month nominated by a patient or carer
• Reports from Serious Incidents Requiring Investigation
• Feedback from patients and staff including actions from ward and clinic visits by Board members, and filmed patient feedback

July’s Board meeting will be held on Wednesday 5th July 2017 followed by the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 18th July 2017.
