Those travelling to and from the Isle of Wight by train will face disruption tomorrow (Sunday) due to engineering works in Portsmouth.
All lines in the Portsmouth area will be closed throughout Sunday, meaning lengthy journey times for passengers hoping to travel to or from Portsmouth Harbour.
A rail replacement service is being operated by local buses between Havant, Cosham and Portsmouth Harbour.
Anyone travelling tomorrow should double check South Western Railway’s website and timetable information as buses may not coincide with the arrival/departure of Wightlink’s catamaran service.
Island Line trains are unaffected by the track maintenance and therefore will be operating as normal.
