The Three Valleys Male Voice Choir from Essex will be visiting the Isle of Wight and singing at Sandown Baptist Church on Saturday 7th November and St Catherine’s Church, Ventnor on Sunday 8th November.
The Three Valleys Male Voice Choir is an enthusiastic and friendly male choir with approximately 35 members who meet for rehearsals in Waltham Abbey in Essex.
The choir is heading to the Isle of Wight next weekend for two performances, which both begin at 19:00. They will be joined by special guests Alicia Hunt on Flute and Roland Gallery on Guitar.
Nigel Thomas, the choir secretary, said:
“Each year we travel to a different part of the country for an enjoyable weekend, along with our partners. It is so inspiring to sing in other buildings with enthusiastic audiences.
“Our new Musical Director, Virginia Firnberg, LLCM MA will be conducting us and we are all very excited to be starting a new stage of development.
“The choir is extremely thankful to the two churches that have given us the opportunity to sing on this beautiful Island and look forward to meeting many of the residents at the concerts”.
The choir have produced two CDs entitled “Songs from the Valleys” Part 1 & 2 and these may be purchased at Sandown and Ventnor.
