Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal will be visiting a number of locations on the Isle of Wight at the beginning of August.

On Monday 6th, Princess Anne will be heading to the furthest point west on the Island when she visits The Needles National Coastwatch Institution station. There she will meet the volunteers that keep a watch over the Western Solent year-round.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust at Bouldnor Forest Centre near Yarmouth will also be visited by Her Royal Highness.

On the same day the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) will host The Princess Royal at both the Inshore Lifeboat Centre in East Cowes and Cowes RNLI Lifeboat Station.

Later in the day, as Royal Honorary Member of the Royal Yacht Squadron, Princess Anne will attend a dinner at The Castle, Cowes.

On Tuesday 7th August, with Cowes Week racing well underway, Princess Anne will conclude her Royal Engagements on the Isle of Wight by watching the sailing from the Royal Yacht Squadron.
