The Awakening, a festival dedicated to wellbeing and self-care, which debuted on the Isle of Wight last month, is joining cosmic forces with the new family festival The Great Wonderfest, to curate a beautiful holistic wellbeing retreat experience.
The Awakening Retreat will consist of multiple curated spaces, as well as Swedish Hot Tubs, massage, hammocks under the ancient oak trees, and therapy pods with a wonderful range of treatments on offer.
At next month’s event, the Inspiration Tent will play host to talks from the likes of ‘Spark Conversations’ and ‘Tent Talks’, focused on conscious living and wellbeing topics. Special guest speakers will include author and food blogger Emily Leary who will be sharing inspiration from her book ‘How to Get Your Kids to Eat Anything’, and DJ legend and Life Coach Brandon Block who will be sharing his experiences and recommendations for living ‘Happy Days’.
Throughout the weekend The Awakening Inspiration Tent will keep minds and hearts vibing each day with mindfulness, breathing and empowering confidence sessions for kids and adults with Natalie Costa of Power Thoughts and The Big Breather with Aimee Hartley, as well as interactive and fun goal mapping sessions with Brian Mayne, alongside practical Self Care Sessions from aromatherapy and botanical garden medicine through to creating family vision boards. The Awakening curator Kate Taylor will also be hosting an Activate Your Magic session, as well as a fun session to bust limiting beliefs based around song titles of The Great Wonderfest’s Sunday headliner, Busted.
Kate Taylor, curator of The Awakening says:
“I’m delighted with the range of offerings we will have at The Awakening Retreat at The Great Wonderfest over the weekend, it’s going to be an oasis of zen and inspiration in our little slice of heaven within the festival.
“There’s something so magical about bringing together a programme of delights that you just know is going to offer something for everyone; a little delight as as well as a bit of breathing space to stretch out and relax throughout the weekend.”
The Great Wonderfest will take place at Duxmore Farm between 1st-4th August. For more information visit https://greatwonderfest.com.
