Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a 37-year-old man suffered a fractured knee in an assault on Cowes High Street.
The incident happened at around 15:00 on Saturday 8th August – almost a month ago – when a man approached a group of people who were not known to him.
He then struck a 37-year-old man, causing him to fall to the ground and suffer a fracture to his right knee.
The injured man attended hospital following the incident.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has now released an image of a man officers believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
