The support acts for Sarah Close’s headline hometown show at Strings Bar & Venue, Newport on Friday 6th October have been announced.

Opening the night is Isle of Wight indie-rock band Freazy, fresh from appearances at Bestival and Fairweather Festival, as well as a huge Southampton show supporting VANT. The teenage trio, comprised of Anna Rice, Lily Giles and Keetan Daish, released their debut EP earlier this year to huge acclaim.

Also performing on the night will be popular Island singer-songwriter Lauran Hibberd. Fresh from the release of her new single Old Head Young Shoulders, Lauran has enjoyed slots on Bestival’s Main Stage and BBC Introducing’s Cowes Week takeover.
