The Island’s household waste recycling centres are operating to their usual Summer opening hours from today (Monday).
Lynnbottom at Briddlesford Road, Downend is now open 7 days a week – including bank holidays – between 07:00-20:00.
Afton Marsh in Freshwater is open 3 days a week (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) – including bank holiday Mondays – between 07:00-20:00.
The Summer opening hours would normally continue until 29th October, however a recently approved Budget means that Lynnbottom Tip will, at some point, only open 6 days a week and close at 18:00 in the summer and 16:00 in the winter.
