Scarrots Lane in Newport will be pedestrianised on Saturday to allow for a fun-filled day of Christmas celebrations.
Step into Christmas, a local event organised by businesses in Scarrots Lane, will be held tomorrow (Saturday) from 10:00-18:00.
There will be live music and entertainment, craft and market stalls, a variety of food stands as well as a grand charity raffle.
Youngsters will also get the chance to see Mr and Mrs Claus, the Snow Queen and her Siberian Huskies.
The entire day of festivities will be in aid of YMCA Young Carers Isle of Wight and Newport Carnival.
Several shops in the area will be holding special events, whilst the Newport Carnival Christmas Parade starts at 17:00.
