Four babies were welcomed into the world at St Mary’s Hospital yesterday, New Year’s Day.
In total three boys and a girl were born on 1st January 2015, who join 6 other babies sharing a special birthday.
The first to arrive was a baby girl who was born at 01:58, a daughter for Bernadette Speight of Cowes, and James Morman. Their daughter weighed in at 7lb 11oz.
Six hours later at 08:10 she was followed by Theo Robert, a son for Danniella Powell of Ryde, and Ryan Marlow. Their son weighed in at 9lb 15oz.
Theo was soon followed at 09:23 by Dylan Logan, a son for Kimberley and Sam Draper. Their son weighed in at 6lb 6oz.
Finally, at 22:19, Bailey James entered the world – a son for Megan Tuck of Newport and Ian Doughty. Their son weighed in at 8lb 1oz.
Head of Midwifery for NHS Isle of Wight, Annie Hunter said:
