Solent Grange Nursing Home – based at Staplers Road near Wootton – will be holding their Christmas Fete will be holding on Saturday (14th December).
The event will include Liz Malcolmson Thomas and her Shetland pony from 10:00.
There will be a Christmas special with YES Creative Beats CIC between 10:30 and 11:30.
At 12:00, female vocalist Annie will get everyone in the festive mood with a Christmas sing’a’long.
Santa will be making an appearance between 11:00 and 13:00.
Cakes and drinks will be available throughout the day, and this year, stall holders will be sharing their arts and crafts.
There will also be a Christmas raffle, thanks to the support from the local community, with tickets costing £1 or £5 a strip (cash only).
Santa’s Grotto is open for the month for residents and their families and loved ones to get pictures, and there is a post box in there so children can write letters to Santa. Solent Grange simply ask for an email address on the end of the letter so Santa can reply.
