Isle of Wight business Desk Digital is celebrating the first anniversary of their quarterly ‘Skill Exchange’, which is held at No64 in Ryde.
The popular event started in November 2017 welcoming local business owners, marketers and creatives from across the Isle of Wight. Since then, the event continues to welcome people old and new as they learn about digital marketing.
The Skill Exchange will be returning to No64 Ryde on 17th January 2019 from 18:45. The special anniversary event will see 2 digital marketers discuss all things search engine optimisation and PR.
Jacquie Shaw, PR Manager at The National Museum of the Royal Navy will be introducing how to promote your business through advertorial. Jacquie has 20 years’ experience working in the tourism and heritage sector. She will be seeking to inspire delegates on how to create press releases and how to use content generated across digital channels.
Callum Murphy, Project Manager at Desk Digital will be giving 10 top tips on SEO in 2019. Callum has worked for the Royal Navy and The Caravan and Motorhome Club. He specialises in content and search engine optimisation. His workshop will take delegates on a whistle-stop tour of the must-dos in 2019 and how to implement them.
After the workshops, delegates will have the opportunity to network and discuss what they’ve learnt with others.
Callum Murphy said:
“As a local business, it’s more important than ever to take digital by the horns and run with it. Each event is designed to give attendees a glimpse of what’s possible, but also what’s realistic to implement in their business. Of course, no birthday would be complete without birthday cake – so come and grab a slice and up skill in 2019 for free.”
The event will start at 18:45 and finish at 20:45. Hot and cold drinks will be available as well as a selection of snacks to purchase on the night.
