This month’s event will cover both offline and online marketing techniques designed to help businesses grow locally. Lewis Wheeler, Law Associate at Wheelers Solicitors and Ben Hollis, Director at Lancasters will cover both offline and online marketing techniques.
Ben Hollis started Lancasters in 2011 with the goal of creating an estate agency people love. Over the course of his career so far, he has personally overseen the sale of over £450million worth of property. Ben will be bringing his experiences in running a business as he looks at how to stay relevant to your clients through content marketing techniques.
Lewis Wheeler has worked as a Law Associate for Wheelers Solicitors for 2 years. After returning to the Isle of Wight, Lewis now specialises in probate law as well as managing the marketing for the business. In his presentation, Lewis will discuss small business marketing, giving an inside view on what works, the challenges and what opportunities there may be for digital professionals on the Isle of Wight.
After both workshops, a question and answer sessions will follow alongside networking opportunities.
Ben Hollis said:
“Don’t worry, I promise not to bore you with houses! Over the years, through mentors and my own experiences, I’ve learnt what works and what doesn’t in content marketing. It’s all about interrupting people’s expectations and how they become customers. I’ll be talking about the different types of content marketing techniques and how to best engage with your customers.”
Lewis Wheeler said:
“As a local business, Wheelers Solicitors work very hard on building long term relationships through very traditional marketing channels. Most recently, we’ve rebranded, launched a new website and focused more on extending what we do through content marketing and social media. I’ll be talking about what works for us on a local level and how individuals can apply that to their business.”
The event will start at 18:45 and finish at 20:45. Hot and cold drinks will be available as well as a selection of snacks to purchase on the night.
