Shanklin & Sandown’s Juniors men’s and Junior sculls crews were formally rewarded last Saturday with the prestigious Hants and Dorset Championship trophies at the Association presentation dinner in Eastleigh.
The club collected 2 trophies alongside the best crews across the region, with the chairman also applauding the crew’s impressive South Coast Championship win.
The Junior men’s crew of Arlo Adds, Carter Horrix, Louis Sheasby, Fred Giemza-Pipe and Esme Walters (cox) reunited for the event as the boys now attend mainland universities and colleges, were presented with the Championship trophy.
Fred Giemza Pipe continued the club’s fine tradition of sculling success and was duly presented with the trophy for the Men’s Junior sculls championship.
