20-year-old Jay Pearson has been charged with indecent exposure and 2 other offences following an incident in Ryde on Saturday night.
Police were called to the area of Ryde Bus Station when concerned members of public called 999 to report an ongoing incident, which then continued into Union Street.
Pearson, of Arthurs Hill in Shanklin, was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with indecent exposure, theft of a pedal cycle and using threatening/abusive language.
He will appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court at a future date.
Hampshire Constabulary say that it has been another ‘reasonable’ weekend in terms of crime on the Isle of Wight.

The clue is in the title really ” Indecent Exposure ” he clearly wasn’t hiding what he was doing otherwise no one would of seen it happening, also done for theft and threatening and abusive language. Clearly an upstanding member of the public in your eyes then, and he came to Ryde to do it, probably cycled over from Shanklin on the stolen bike !!!!!!!

How times have changed, sadly for the worst. As at one time, if someone had done that in Ryde, the real men would have taken it down an ally and kicked it so hard it would not know what gender it was.
