49-year-old Gary Dauncey will appear in court this morning (Thursday) charged with assaulting a Police officer, as well as public order offences against NHS staff at St Mary’s Hospital.
The arrest and charges come after Police were called to an incident in Stanhope Road, Cowes on Tuesday evening.
Gary Dauncey, of Osborne Road in Shanklin, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and public order offences against NHS staff at St Mary’s Hospital.
Thankfully, the officer was not badly injured and returned to work yesterday.
