Shanklin has been listed as one of the most desirable places in the UK to retire to, new research has revealed.
The study, conducted by McCarthy & Stone, found that many Brits dream of retiring to the seaside, with coastal locations topping the list of preferred locations overall.

A spokesperson from McCarthy & Stone shares several reasons why people might consider retiring to the coast:
