In 1 of only 3 Division 1 games to survive the weather on Saturday, top-of-the-table Shanklin knocked 6 goals past Pan Community at Downside.
Pan Community 0-6 Shanklin
The goals for Shanklin came courtesy of a Cory Sanderson hat trick, a brace from Jason Smythers and a further strike from George Carter-Knight.
Shanklin’s win sees the unbeaten Isle of Wight champions remain 3 points clear of 2nd-placed Whitecroft & Barton Sports with 4 games of the season left to play for both clubs.
Whitecroft & Barton Sports 3-1 Northwood St Johns
W&B continue to snap at Shanklin’s heels after overcoming Northwood St Johns at Sandy Lane. Sam Yelland, Jack East and Josh Appell were all on target for the home side.
