gcseresultsThe Isle of Wight Council has announced the dates and locations of public meetings as part of the current consultation on proposals to improve secondary and post 16 education attainment.

Meetings will be held at locations across the Island, including centrally in Newport and at secondary schools. Parents of children who attend the Isle of Wight Free School are encouraged to attend one of the public meetings.

The dates, venues and times are listed below:

Monday 9th February 19:00 to 21:00 Quay Arts Centre, Newport
Monday 23th February 18:00 to 20:00 Medina Theatre, Newport
Monday 2nd March 18:00 to 20:00 Island Studio School, Cowes
Tuesday 3rd March 19:00 to 21:00 Quay Arts Centre, Newport
Monday 9th March 18:00 to 20:00 Christ the King College, Newport
Monday 16th March 18:00 to 20:00 Sandown Bay Academy, Sandown
Tuesday 17th March 18:00 to 20:00 Cowes Enterprise College, Cowes
Monday 23rd March 18:00 to 20:00 Ryde Academy, Ryde
Tuesday 24th March 18:00 to 20:00 Isle of Wight College, Newport

The consultation was launched on Monday 26th January and will close at 17:00 on Thursday 30th April. There are numerous ways to take part in the consultation, including an online survey, via email or using a freepost address. Details of these are available on the website.
