A second motorcycle is reported to have been stolen on the Isle of Wight at some point between yesterday evening and this morning (Easter Monday).
The black Suzuki DRZ 400, registration WU55 VXD, has gone missing from Shanklin Old Village.
Earlier on today Island Echo reported that a motorcycle had been taken from Cavendish Place in Newport overnight.
Anyone with information should contact Police on 101.

Surely with the much reduced traffic on our roads, if the police cannot trace these thefts now, little hope when we are all up and running again in two or three years time.
What with so many cameras now on houses, roads, and cars, but no drive to do so. For the thief IF ever caught would hardly get more than a ticking off. Such low levels of acceptance of crime has reached even the Island.
Best the police would do is ask if you had insurance, give you a crime number and offer useless victim support.
Best off tracing the low life yourself and give them a can of two stroke, that you will no longer need.
I think this bike parks in big mead carpark opposite the rock shop there is two or three bikes park there and no disc lock or anything on them it’s asking for trouble lock it or loose it hope you get it back
More low life again
This bike has now been recovered, slightly damaged, but at least my mate has it back. There are no clues as to the identity of the low-life that nicked it though 🙁
Which part of Stay at home do these thieves not understand. No shopping, no pubbing, No sunbathing, No Nicking.
