UPDATED: Police have been called to assist in the search for a 83-year-old man who has gone missing whilst on holiday in Bembridge.
Bob Turner, who has been staying at Northclose Road in the village, has not been seen since around 09:00 this morning. He is said to suffer from dementia.
Mr Turner was last seen wearing a green Barbour coat. He is described as being 6ft 1 inch tall with grey hair.
Anyone who sees Mr Turner is asked to call Police on 101.
UPDATE @ 12:07 – The gentleman has been found safe and well near to Lane End after being spotted by a local resident.
