Runners, joggers and walkers all dressed as Santa Claus stepped out in Ryde this morning (Sunday) for the annual Santa Dash in aid of Mountbatten.
The 5km dash got underway from Superbowl at 11:00, with a flurry of red Santas of all shapes and sizes making their way towards Appley, along to Puckpool and back again.
Crowds of spectators cheered on the fun runners along the route including crew members at Ryde Inshore Rescue.
Nigel Hartley, Chief Executive of Mounbatten has previously said:
“We are so thankful to everyone who took part, our volunteers and helpers who together have raised a fantastic amount towards our work in supporting people when they need us most, wherever they are on the Isle of Wight.”
