Organisers of Fairweather Festival have announced that it is moving to a brand new home in 2018 and will be held over 2 days.
Sandown Airport – situated between Lake and Apse Heath – will play host to this year’s event on Friday 31st August and Saturday 1st September.
The new venue will allow for free parking, a later curfew and brand new stages, whilst still holding the same capacity of 5,000 people.
Last year Los Altos Park hosted the inaugural event, which saw performances from the likes of Professor Green, FooR, Lucy Spraggan and The Chuckle Brothers in front of a packed crowd.
This year, ‘the festival for better mental health’ has partnered with the Isle of Wight Youth Trust to raise vital awareness and important funds to sustain their outstanding services for the future.
Founder and promoter Callum Fairweather said:
“We’re very excited to be moving to a new, unique location we can call our home for years to come. I’m delighted the Airport shares our vision to make a difference within our local community and I hope you all come and enjoy the weekend!”
Tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks, along with the first line-up announcement.
