UKSA will be operating out of Cowes Yacht Haven on 30th May and are welcoming members of the public to come aboard one of the charity’s keelboats for a sail experience.
On the Friday of half-term week members of the public will be able to turn up and try a keelboat session for just £10pp as part of a wider open day at the venue for National Watersports Month.
Go out on a keelboat for an hour and start to learn the ropes. All kit is supplied, so just make sure you are wearing suitable/sensible footwear that you don’t mind getting wet.
The open day starts at 10:00 with the first boat leaving at 10:30. Further boats will be leaving at the following times: 10:30; 12:00; 13:00; 13:30; 14:30; 15:00; 16:00; 16:30.
Minimum age of six years (when accompanied by an adult) or eight years unaccompanied.
There will be a BBQ from 17:00 at the event, and UKSA’s windsurf simulator will also be there on the day.
