Ryde Academy did not fail to impress when they showcased at Day 3 of the Rock Challenge in Portsmouth yesterday (Wednesday).
11 schools from across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and Surrey competed at the Portsmouth Guildhall last night to an audience of over 1000 people.
Premier Showcasing team Ryde Academy wowed the crowds with their performance of ‘Escaping Death’ which told the story of a young Harry Houdini, the world-famous illusionist.
Judges awarded Premier Awards of Excellence for Performance Skill, Drama, Soundtrack, Lighting, Video Performance and Stage Crew, which helps the Ryde team to see where improvements could be made.
