The Royal Hotel are to host a tea party to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday on 11th June, with Head Chef Steve Harris assembling an afternoon tea fit for Royalty.
The menu is full of Royal treats using fresh and local ingredients, including smoked salmon bellini, delicate finger sandwiches and the hotel’s famous scones and preserve. Also included is a free glass of bubbly on arrival.
Afternoon tea will be served in the hotel’s garden/restaurant accompanied by live music with Cat Skellington, face painting by Jo Lofthouse with lots of laughter and a prize to be awarded for the most fascinating hat. There will also be a prize for the best children’s fancy dress. Victorian dress encouraged.
