This summer, visitors can once again catch the bus to Tapnell Farm thanks to a seasonal service being run by Southern Vectis.
Route 27 will operate every day throughout the 6-week school break, starting Saturday 20th July and running until Sunday 1st September, providing a travel option for local families and visitors.
Following feedback on last year’s pilot service, Southern Vectis has added more times to the timetable this season, now offering daily morning, afternoon and early evening buses to get visitors to and from Tapnell Farm.
The route will run between Newport and Yarmouth Bus Stations via Tapnell Farm. A special shuttle bus service will also be connecting visitors from Yarmouth to the Park during the day.
You can catch the bus to Tapnell Farm from anywhere on the Island by asking for a ‘Through to Tapnell’. The fare will cover a single route from home to Newport Bus Station, where you’ll change for the Route 27 to Yarmouth via Tapnell Farm. ‘Through to Tapnell’ tickets cost £4.50 Adult / £3.40 Young Adult / £2.25 Child / Under 5’s go free.
