Rock For Good, an all day music event that aims to put music back into the community, where help is needed most, will return to Ryde for its 7th outing this Easter.
All are invited to this year’s event on Sunday 9th April (Easter Sunday), this time to raise funds for Aspire Ryde which is renowned for its non-profit community-run aid for some of the most vulnerable citizens.
Aspire Ryde is involved in many aspects of community life from ties to local food banks and sheltering homeless people, all the way to their musical creative hub or community run soft play areas, giving children something positive to work towards in their spare time.
Starting at 13:00, this year’s lineup includes The White Hot Chili Peppers, Colossal Centipede, Dead Revival, Any Road, The Bowden Paul Experience and Kindred Found. There will also be a range of acts for The Creative Hub Takeover (a showcase of Aspire produced bands from their own Creative Hub) as well as a raffle and even karaoke for those wishing to share the limelight.
The event is free but all donations are welcome.
