RHYS DAVIES ADMITS FRACTURING MAN’S SKULL IN SANDOWN ASSAULT

31-year-old Rhys Patrick Davies has admitted causing grievous bodily harm to a man in Sandown last month.

The 35-year-old victim was left with a fractured skull in the incident on Crescent Road on 2nd April, as previously reported by Island Echo.

Davies appeared before the Isle of Wight Crown Court yesterday (Thursday) where he admitted the charge against him.

The case has been adjourned for pre-sentence reports to be produced, with sentencing set to take place on 7th August.

Rhys has been demanded in custody.
