Red Funnel have confirmed that they have completed the purchase of Well Road car park in East Cowes.
The cross-Solent operator has confirmed that it recently purchased the car park that is situated adjacent to King’s Square and Waitrose.
A spokesperson for Red Funnel has today (Tuesday) said:
“We have started work on this to refurbish it and to reinstate it as a car park.
“There are no plans to erect a building on the site and our intention is that the reinstatement of the car park will be an asset to Red Funnel and to the town.”
The car park was boarded up several years ago when develop of the surrounding area began.
