An Alice in Wonderland themed Easter Egg Hunt in aid of Wessex Cancer Trust, which had to be postponed last week due to the poor weather, is to be held in Newport on Sunday.
The event will now be taking place between 10:00-13:00 on Sunday 8th April near the main car park at Parkhurst Forest, off Forest Road.
It’s the first fundraiser for the Building for the Future appeal to raise £100,000 for a new cancer support centre on the Isle of Wight.
There will also be storytelling with Alice herself (from Enchanted Isle), a raffle, refreshments and a decorated hat competition.
