Rain didn’t dampen the spirits of thousands of music lovers who descended on Smallbrook Stadium for this year’s Jack up the 80s.
Neon colours were aplenty across the weekend as crowds dressed up in retro clothing for a true throwback experience.
The second hosting of the annual event at its new home in Ryde proved to be a great success and held up well to the adverse conditions.
Saturday evening saw the likes of Chesney Hawkes, Phats & Small, T’Pau and Leo Sayer all take to the stage following on from performances from 5IVE, Pat Sharp and Brother Beyond earlier in the day.
Festival revellers were treated to around 12 hours of entertainment each day, with Sunday seeing Martin Kemp, Shakatak, Jaki Graham, Toyah and Shalamar performing also. Wave 105’s Steve Power took to the decks on both days.
The crowds may have been a little damp but the atmosphere was electric for the festival like no other.
