Project:Opera, the people’s opera company, are to present ‘Love Unspoken’ at Holy Trinity Church in Cowes this Saturday (10th February).
Soprano Annalisa Vaughan and Bass Baritone Ian Wilson-Pope will perform popular arias and duets on the theme of love, accompanied by accomplished pianist Jane Carter.
The program will include arias from Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, The Merry Widow, Rusalka’s ‘Song to the moon’ and generally love scenes from the heart-achingly unrequited to the down right naughty.
The evening begins at 18:00 at Holy Trinity Church, Queens Road, Cowes.
Tickets cost £15, concessions £8 – children go free. Tickets can be booked at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/project-opera. 25% of the profits from this event will go to support Isle of Wight Pride.
