PREMIER FORD MOTABILITY ROADSHOW HEADING TO RYDE

Premier Ford, the Island’s Ford Store, is launching a second Motability Roadshow in Ryde Town Square on Thursday (6th June). This event is dedicated to the Motability Scheme so you can learn more about the leading car scheme for disabled people first hand.

Premier Ford’s dedicated Motability Specialists, Barry Lloyd and Dan Mears, will be on hand to offer advice on getting a new car and any adaptations required to suit individual mobility needs. There will also be a number of new Ford cars on display that are available on the scheme to give customers a flavour of the Ford range.

The Premier Ford Motability Roadshow takes place on Thursday 6th June between 10:00 and 13:00 in Ryde Town Square, Anglesea Street – between Costa Coffee and Ryde Co-Op.

Neil Gordon, Sales Team Leader at Premier Ford, commented:

“Following on from the success of our first Motability Roadshow in Yarmouth in April, we have decided to bring this event to Ryde high street. We had a great amount of positive feedback from the previous event we’re looking forward to welcoming people in Ryde and the surrounding area to learn more about leasing a car through the Motability Scheme”.

Established to enable disabled people to access affordable, worry-free motoring, the Motability Scheme provides customers with a brand-new car as part of an all-inclusive lease package that offers insurance for two named drivers, servicing and maintenance, full RAC breakdown assistance, tyre and windscreen replacement and 60,000 mileage allowance over three years. There are also many car adaptations on the Scheme including many available at no extra cost as part of Motability’s Managed Adaptations Programme. The Scheme now has over 600,000 customers and a reputation for outstanding customer service.

The Motability Scheme is available to anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or the Armed Forces Independence Payment. The benefit is transferred to Motability as the lease payment for a car. The Motability Scheme offers a wide range of models including over cars available for no further cost, although customers who choose a larger model may need to pay an additional Advance Payment.

A family member, carer or friend who lives within five miles of the disabled customer can drive the car on a customer’s behalf if they do not drive.
