An outboard engine that police believe may have been stolen has been recovered. However, they are now appealing for its potential owner to come forward. 

Police say that the outboard engine is of relatively low horsepower but are asking residents to come forward if it might be yours.

Livvy, speaking on behalf of Isle of Wight Police’s Facebook page has said:

“We have recovered an outboard engine which we believe was recently stolen.

“It is a fairly low horsepower engine so if you have lost one and it hasn’t been reported please call 101 or report online.”
