A series of pop-up cafes will be held at libraries across the Isle of Wight this autumn and winter, offering the opportunity to watch StoneCrabs’ Our Stories Matter documentary.
Our Stories Matter, filmed on the Isle of Wight as part of the Out On An Island project, focusing on fascinating LGBTQ+ people from the past 100 years. There’s also a chance to see a recording of Out On An Island’s exhibition showcasing our research and memorabilia filmed at Quay Arts.
Coffee and croissants will be on offer, and opportunities to learn about places with hidden LGBTQ+ connections from Dimbola Lodge in Freshwater and Virginia Woolf to The Shack at Mottistone Manor with Paget and Seely or the East Cowes Classic Boat Museum and Joe Carstairs will be on offer.
Join the cafes on:
Saturday 16th October at Lord Louis Library, Newport from 10:00 until 12:30.
Saturday 30th October at Sandown Library from 10:00 until 12:30.

I had something good to say…but got deleted again ! Something about carrot cake…etc.
wow, the permanently offended, weak and pathetic snowflakes cant help themselves with their comments. If you are too weak willed, to withstand any comment that doesn’t agree with your narrative then don’t read the comments.
