Ryde’s Neighbourhood Policing Team have organised a Community Alert day to provide Islanders with advice about crime prevention, home security and scams.
All are invited along to the Old School at New Road, Wootton Bridge on Friday (6th April) between 12:00-16:00 to meet the team and their partners.
Those heading along to the free event will have a chance to speak to representatives of numerous organisations including Isle of Wight Council’s Trading Standards team; The Bobby Trust; Age Concern; The Footprint Trust; People Matter IW – supporting people with disabilities; Crimestoppers and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
