Police on the Isle of Wight are investigating instances of tyres being slashed in rural parts of the Island.
On 21st January it was reported that a sheep trailer situated on a farm in Whitwell had its 4 tyres slashed by currently unidentified persons.
Then, just a week later, 4 tyres were slashed on a trailer and another on a tractor at a yard on the outskirts of Yarmouth. The offender is said to have climbed a gate to gain access.
Investigations by the Isle of Wight’s Country Watch team are continuing.
