After exhibiting at Quay Arts in Newport back in September, three local artists have joined forces again to present ‘This Painted Isle at Christmas’.
With mainly work of Isle of Wight Scenes this latest exhibition from Chris Gillies, Tony Westmore and Malcolm Winter will be staged at Green Buoy Arts in Cowes High Street.
Running from the 26th November through to 12th December the work will form the main Christmas Exhibition for the gallery which is run by Maddy Dobson.
Works from the three artists will include a selection of marine scenes and other Island views, some with that touch of seasonal weather.
Everyone is welcome to view the exhibition and there will be a private view evening. Contact the gallery for details of this or look out for posters advertising this special event. Numbers will be limited for the private view. If you are interested contact Green Buoy Arts as soon as possible for an invitation on 01983 716292 or [email protected]
All the paintings on view will make ideal Christmas gifts and what better way to remember an Island view than with a unique painting. Paintings make an ideal gift for those not living on the Island as well as unique reminders for Island residents.
