Police are on the lookout for a van that is reported to have been stolen in Ryde over the weekend.
The owner of the 2014 Mercedes Vito parked the vehicle on Monkton Street, near to St John’s Train Station, but when he returned on Monday it had disappeared.
The vehicle is described as being dark metallic grey and carries the numberplate KY64 NVR. It is a single cab, 3-seat bench configuration.

UPDATE @ 12:10 – The vehicle has been found by Police on Alfred Street in Ryde.
The van has now been returned to its owner, but tools contained within and the contents of the glove box are missing.
A member of the public reported the find to Police at around 09:00 this morning.
