Islanders and visitors alike are being invited to enjoy gardens fit for a queen with a brand new event at Osborne House in East Cowes this weekend (Saturday 30th June/Sunday 1st July).
English Heritage’s Blooming Gardens event will give visitors the chance to explore the delights of the Great British garden with tours, tips, and demonstrations from Osborne’s team of expert gardeners.
Gold winners at South East in Bloom 2017 and best large attraction garden at Isle of Wight in Bloom 2017, Osborne’s peerless plantings delight avid gardeners, green fingered enthusiasts and beginners alike.
This is not just for gardeners – the whole family can enjoy the event with kids’ crafts, plentiful refreshments and light music on the lawns courtesy of Jukebox Jazz on Saturday and the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra String Quartet on Sunday.
Blooming Gardens takes place from 10:00-17:00 on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July at Osborne House, East Cowes.
