Oakfield FC have said (via their new Facebook page):
“We are excited and very much looking forward to returning to Island football for the 2024-2025 season, with teams going into the Div 2 & Comb 2 leagues respectively. Between now and the start of the new season, we will ensure Oakfield Football Club is back and stronger than ever. “There has seen a lot of important work and discussions already taking place behind the scenes, both securing and strengthening our position on and off the pitch. Whilst over the coming weeks, we have further discussions and exciting plans to look forward to with several parties, that we’re sure will only reinforce this. “We’re looking forward to seeing all the local supporters back once again. We are back and will not let you down.”
