The ever-popular Morris Minor Rally returns to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet on Sunday (31st August) – and entry is completely free.
This annual event has become a favourite in the Island’s classic car calendar, drawing enthusiasts and families alike to admire the line-up of beautifully preserved vehicles. As well as dozens of Morris Minors on display – with visitors able to vote for their favourite – there will also be a wide range of other classic cars taking pride of place around the site.
As in previous years, the rally offers much more than cars. Visitors can browse stalls and autojumble, enjoy live music, and take a nostalgic trip aboard ‘The Old Girl’, the Island’s open-top double decker bus, which will be running £5 mystery tours throughout the day.
A raffle in aid of the nominated charity TrackADog will also be running, with the group on site to demonstrate how their specialist tracking dogs work in the field.
With free entry, a packed programme of displays and entertainment, and the backdrop of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, the Morris Minor Rally promises another great day out for motoring fans and families alike.
