NITON RESIDENTS CELEBRATE AS REAL ALE PUB OPENS IN VILLAGE POST OFFICE

Residents of Niton are celebrating following the opening of a new pub in the village, thanks to the efforts of the local postmaster.

Niton Post Office has opened it’s very own real ale pub called ‘Joe’s Place’, fondly named after the postmaster’s late father, Joe.

Since the closure of the White Lion, Roger and Mavis Barclay have diversified their post office into a fully functioning pub. They opened their doors on Christmas Eve and the quirky ale house has gone down a storm since.

The venture has been made possible thanks to the expert guidance of Dave Yates, Master Brewer of Yates Brewery.
