An incident of road rage, where one motorist punches another whilst in a queue of traffic in Newport, has been caught on camera.
Dean Elliot was driving along St George’s Way past the cinema yesterday (Monday) when he noticed a man assaulting the driver of a Jaguar through the car window.
In an attempt to stop the attack, Dean shouts at the man to stop. In response, a man can be heard saying on the video ‘he just f****** ran me off the road’, believed to be referring to the Jaguar driver.
Although Dean was filming the incident on his dashcam, Police say they are unable to act on the footage as the vehicle’s registration mark is not clear enough and no complaints have been made by either party involved in the scuffle.
