Newport Parish Council will be hosting the Annual Parish Meeting at Gunville Methodist Church on Monday 9th April 2018 beginning at 18:00.
This is a meeting for the electors of the Newport parish area and is held annually between 1st March and 1st June.
During the meeting there will be a report from the Chair of the Parish Council, Cllr Geoff Brodie, reports from Isle of Wight councillors in the Newport and Carisbrooke areas and a presentation from Steve Ashman – Deputy Director for Island Roads – on the Highways PFI contract and the implications for Newport over the next 2 years.
Finally, there will be an opportunity to listen to exciting plans for the parish council’s toilet re-development at Post Office Lane.
Newport Parish Council strongly encourages its residents to attend and participate in the meeting.
