Quarr Abbey Art Gallery will be hosting a collection of unique and distinctive handmade ceramics and decorative wall art painted in oils.
This extensive collection of work, by popular Island artist Andrew Dowden, will appeal to a wide audience. Ideas and designs for Andrew’s work come from a variety of sources, including: nature, archaeology, architecture and machinery.
Entry to the abbey church and grounds is free. There is a large free car park, teashop, visitor centre, bookshop and farm shop. with WC and disabled access. The old abbey ruins are a short walk away.
Andrew will be in attendance at the show and will be happy to discuss work with visitors. This is an opportunity to purchase direct from the artist. A percentage of all sales goes to Quarr Abbey, which is a registered charity.
The exhibition runs from Thursday 6th July to Tuesday 11th July between 10:00 and 17:00. Entry is free.
