The summer ahead is packed full of exciting events, but fun is not dependent on a football win or Olympic medal – New Covent Garden Soup is helping to create happy memories by hosting a family beach day at Eastern Gardens, Ryde on Thursday (30th June).
As well as nostalgic seaside activities and exciting give-aways, New Covent Garden will be ‘souping up’ people’s day and fuelling the fun by serving tasty summer soup flavours – proving that us Brits can have fun, whatever the Great British weather throws at us.
Inspired by the magic of childhood summers spent by the sea, families will be able to enjoy games of beach cricket and flying disc, as well as share in the simple pleasures of flying kites and building sandcastles. New Covent Garden will be giving away hundreds of items essential to making the most of the great British seaside with flying discs, beach balls, kites, buckets and spades all up for grabs.
A ‘face in the hole’ peep board and giant deckchair will provide families with the perfect photo opportunity – and maybe even convince Dad to pose for a selfie! And to ensure the memories made by the beach last long after the summer is over, New Covent Garden will be providing all families posing in the peep board with a free ‘wish you were here’ postcard to take home.
